As a small, fully female-led team rooted in Guatemala, we know exactly where your travel money goes and how it can create meaningful, local impact. Even without formal certifications, we apply responsible practices in every travel program, every partnership, and every itinerary we design. 

How We Put Sustainability Into Practice 

   1. Supporting small-scale and eco-friendly stays 

We carefully select accommodations that are locally owned, small-scale, and — where available — committed to eco practices. Whether it’s energy-saving systems, waste reduction, or local sourcing, we choose partners who care about the environment and their community. 

   2. Working directly with local providers 

No middlemen. 

We collaborate one-on-one with Guatemalan drivers, guides, hosts, and instructors — ensuring fair pay and long-term partnerships. Your trip directly supports local livelihoods. 

   3. Authentic experiences with a purpose 

We design excursions that respect culture, avoid mass tourism, and highlight traditions that you won’t find elsewhere. Craft workshops, community visits, and nature activities are chosen for their authenticity and positive local impact.

From homestay hosts and Spanish teachers to drivers and guides, your trip contributes to stable income for many families. Our volunteer programs especially generate direct support for grassroots projects and host communities.
